Finally finished another handful of clansmen. I've added some new shields to this lot and am planning to replace the previous ones as I wasn't entirely happy with the foundry shields.

 

I've decided to take a wee break from clansmen for a bit to concentrate on a unit of the old marauder miners. Watch this space.

Very slow progress I'm afraid, but hopefully this handful of clansmen are nearly done.

I'm currently working on the blues (my favourite colour lol), wood and leather next.

Trying to move swiftly on, here are the next lot reporting for duty!

Another 5 Marauder Clansmen done, plus one from the previous batch. I mistakenly added a shield to a plated gauntlet...oops!

Unfortunately the super glue removed a bit of paint so the gauntlet has been retouched and is how it should be.

That's 17 done so far. I've already started the musician and am making quite good progress there. All I need now is to choose the next 5 and crack on.

All being well I should have then finished after the weekend.

I just need to finish the blues and leathers on most of them and try and add a bit of variation to the chainmail.

The first five of the Marauder Clansmen are done. I still can't make my mind up about the shields yet but have decided to go with some shields from Foundry, they will do for now.

I've had a few suggestions on Bugman's Brewery to try some woodgrain shields which I quite like the idea of so I'll have to take a look at what's on offer.
