Another batch of Marauder Clansmen done, 11 in total now. Slow progress but it's progress.

The first five of the Marauder Clansmen are done. I still can't make my mind up about the shields yet but have decided to go with some shields from Foundry, they will do for now.

I've had a few suggestions on Bugman's Brewery to try some woodgrain shields which I quite like the idea of so I'll have to take a look at what's on offer.

 

 

A closer look at the shields....

It's been a strange month it all started with painting some Night Goblins (getting a bit bored of them now...) then onto some Marauder Clansmen, unfortunately I only got as far as the basecoat.
Then I kind of drifted onto LOTR -  Knights of Minas Tirith, a couple of Rohan Warriors and then back to the clansmen again.
I'm happy to say the progress was a lot better this time around and I thought I'd share it....

As things are I still need to finish the leather and wood weapons etc, the eyes and then decide on shields before moving on.

I've got a rough idea on shields but am not completely happy with them yet....more soon.

Been a bit distracted lately.  The Dwarfs have taken a temp back seat to finish a unit of Night Goblin for a unit painting challenge over at Bugman's Brewery. I hope you like them.

Blwyddyn Newydd Hapus!! Happy New Year !!

Here are the all of my units together in one post which includes some of the units from the last post re-shot with the new background. I think I prefer the light blue background to the white.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once the light improves I'll be re-shooting the individual figures withthe new background, hopefully they'll be slightly better quality pictures....finger's crossed.

I spent most of this morning taking some new photos of my painted units and towards the end of the session the batteries died out. I tried some other half-charged batteries but the camera wouldn't even switch on. Aaaargghh.
Needless to say I've got batteries on charge so that I can get them uploaded later. I'm also thinking of getting a new camera!
